- The National Park Service, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, San Francisco, Ca is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for debris box services (various sizes) and recycle removal at Hyde Street Pier and Aquatic Park areas, San Francisco, CA. Work under this project consists of providing the necessary labor, equipment, supplies, debris boxes, and transportation to collect, remove, and dispose of refuse. The contract will be awarded for one base year and four one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The base year and each option period will be awarded and exercised subject to the availability of each fiscal year's funds. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the vendor who offers the best value of price and past performance and holds a Federal Facilities Refuse Collection Permit issued by the Department of Public Health of the City and County of San Francisco. It is suggested that all who intend to submit an offer begin the Permit application process immediately rather than awaiting receipt of solicitation N8520070031. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. The NAICS Code for this project is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5 million. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about April 5, 2007. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Submission date for offers will be approximately 30 calendar days after issuance of solicitation; refer to the solicitaiton for the actual date.
