Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice Only for purposes of conducting Market Research. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia is conducting market research to determine the ex tent to which small businesses are capable of performing as prime contractors, providing a Army In Atlanta Installation Guidebook, map and CD-ROM for both Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem. The resultant award will be a Civilian Enterprise (CE) no cost t ype contract IAW AR 360-1 www.army.mil/usapa/ (The Army Public Affairs Program). U.S. government appropriated or nonappropriated funds, stationery and other materials will not be used to print or distribute The Army in Atlanta Installation Guidebook, map a nd/or CD-ROM. The revenue that the contractor receives from the sale of advertisements in the name of The Army in Atlanta Installation Guidebook will constitute full payment to the contractor. The Government is anticipating to award the Army In Atlanta In stallation Guidebook, map and CD-ROM contract for a one year base, 01 July 2007 thru 30 June2008, and four additional options to be exercised at the governments discretion as follows: Option One - 01 July 2008 thru 30 June2009, Option Two - 01 July 2009 thru 30 June2010, Option Three - 01 July 2010 thru 30 June2011, and Option Four - 01 July 2011 thru 30 June2012. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 323117, Books Printing; the small busines s size standard is 500 employees. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Interested businesses concerns are invited to provi de capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform the requirement. Contractor must be able to bear all costs, taxes, and expenses associated with the design, publishing, and shipping of the publication, maps, and CD-Roms as outlined within Draft SOW. Capability #3: Indicate whether interested business concern is small, small disadvantaged, 8a, woman owned, service disabled veteran, HubZone or any other socio-economic group. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this Sources Sought announcement via email by 2 April 2007 at 3:00 p.m. EDT, Responses shall not exceed 10 pages and must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number and fax number. The information provided in the response to this sources sought will be used to finalize the market research report for this requirement.
