- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Villa Road, St. Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order with DNE Technologies, Inc, 50 Barnes Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492-0030 for Ultra-DNE CV-MCU2 Converter Modules and equipment as follows: three (3) each Ultra-DNE MCU2 Chassis P/N 97681005, eight (8) each Ultra-DNE MCU2 Converter Module P/N 97680011, seven (7) each Ultra-DNE Blank Panels P/N 62023663, eight (8) each Ultra-DNE MCU2 Cable P/N 75011129, eight (8) each Ultra-DNE NRZ Cable P/N 75011130, eight (8) Ultra-DNA CDI Cable P/N 75011132. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. DNE Technologies, Inc. is the only manufacturer and provider of the requested multiplexing converters and the only manufacture that meets EDM?s stringent requirements and specifications. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Centeral Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement as a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
