- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912JV-07-Q-4005 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-02. This procurement is NOT restricted to small businesses/disadvantaged businesses because the dollar amount is expected to exceed $100K.; however, small/disadvantaged businesses will receive preference over large ones. T he NAICS code is 238210, and the small business size standard is $13Mil; Approximate FSC = 6230. This procurement is being announced as sole source and/or brand name ; however, this synopsis is being placed to announce such and to determine if this is tr uly sole source/brand name or if there are some or equal contractors interested in submitting or equal offers. The following commercial item(s) is requested in this solicitation; Short Noun for kit/system: Tactical Airfield Lighting Kits 5 KITS OF PHANTOM AZL-15 KIT (P/N: PK9001-LAHUIS3). EACH KIT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: (70) P2603-A, PHANTOM AZL UNITS; (4) P2602-T, TRANSMITTERS; (70) P2606-BU, BUNGEE SETS; (35) P2606-PO, POUCHES; (6) BELLA 7-2, WHITE/IR; (6) WAND2 FOR DUAL BELLA; (2) BE LLA3, AMDER; (2) CASE4; (1) CASE2. REFERENCE F8TTST7078A100 ON YOUR QUOTE Brand names and part numbers may have been used to assist in describing the above agency needs; however, it normally does necessarily indicate our intention to procure items with the same brand name and/or part number unless we are advertising a sole sour ce/brand name procurement action as in this case. Refer to paragraph one for details. Items should be shipped 120 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to 6801 NE Cornfoot Road, Portland Oregon 97218-2797. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial I tems. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable items/services.
