Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release request for proposal W91CRB-07-R-0019 on or about 20 2007 for a system which will integrate the people, processes and technology of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) to provide an agile, process-managed, net-centric, service-oriented, collaborative environment in which to more effectively and efficiently execute its mission. This To-Be environment is referred to as the JIEDDO Enterprise Manageme nt System (JEMS), formerly the JIEDDO Collaborative Tool. The foundational components of this JEMS must orchestrate and support the execution of two critical JIEDDO business processes: the JIEDDO Staff Action workflow and the JIEDDO Capabilities and Acqui sition Management Process (JCAAMP). The solicitation will be set-aside for vendors who have a schedule under General Services Associations (GSA) Special Item Number (SIN) 70 (IT). The solicitation will result in one Delivery/Task Order Contract that acco mmodates both time and materials and firm fixed price delivery/task orders for one base period and two option periods. The official release of the solicitation will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at t he following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the solicitation and a Compact Disc (CD), which will be provided by request, will contain the complete solicitation package. No hard copy of this solicitation wil l be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those respond ing to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents.
