- The Marine Corp Systems Command (MCSC), PG-13 Infantry Weapons Systems (IWS), Optics and Non-Lethal Systems (ONS), intends to procure a 4 Mega Pixel monochrome camera system. Part of the EOTF?s mission is to conduct objective and repeatable capturing of optical images and video as seen by an observer from the output aperture or display of a thermal imager and image intensifiers; therefore, it is advantageous to procure a camera system which can capture with high resolution and superior sensitivity the image or scene presented to the observer. The following attributes of the system are required: The 4 Mega Pixels camera is a 12 bit monochrome camera that operates at 15 frames a second full resolution (30 frames a second at 4x4 binning) with a dynamic range of 60 dB full resolution and a CamerLink interface. The 4 Mega Pixel camera is supported and operated by a controller with multiple camera head capability. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item s prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation applicable to this procurement is attached. The solicitation number for this procurement is M67854-07-Q-1064 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-12, Effective 04 Aug 2006. This procurement is unrestricted. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations at (ORCA), http://orca.bpn.gov, will also be required. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may make a vendor offeror ineligible for award. All offers are due no later than 4:00pm local time on April 2, 2007. All documents should be submitted to Stasia Baker, Contract Specialist, Marine Corps Systems Command at stasia.baker@usmc.mil.
