Description

PROJECT: Medical / Dental Clinic Addition/Alteration at Beale Air Force Base, California. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: This acquisition will proceed as an UNRESTRICTED, Request for Proposals (RFP). A technical and price proposal will be required for this p roject. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 Small Business Subcontracting Plan, regarding the requirements for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for su bcontracting are as follows: 51.2% for Small Businesses; 8.8% for Small Disadvantaged Businesses; 7.3% for Women-Owned Small Businesses; 3.1% for HUBZone Businesses; and 1.5% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Estimated Cost Range is bet ween $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. This procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: Y142; SIC Code: 1542; NAICS Code: 236220. The small business size standard for this code is $31,000,000. Information about the time and location of the site visit/prepr oposal conference will be found in Section 00100 of the RFP, clause 52.236-27. JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and construct an ap proximately 23,000 sf addition and an approximately 15,000 sf renovation of the existing single story medical clinic. Alterations to the existing include demolition, hazardous materials abatement, and renovation of the existing infrastructure. Site work includes parking lot improvements and access road construction/improvements. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE RFP process. The RFP for this project will be issued on or around 13 April 2007 , with proposals due 30 calendar days thereafter. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy. The RFP including plans and specs, and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS. Access to the RFP documents on the FedTeDS website will be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink will be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov) once the RFP is issued. The hyper-link will not appear as a website address, but text as follows: Available online via the FedTeDs (Federal Technical Data Solution) website. Viewing/downloading documents from FedTe DS will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov).
