- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Webster Field St Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order with OPM LLC, 10000 E Bexhill Dr., Kensington, MD 2895-3203 to supply Symbionics BCSX System 1 Computer Systems, Quantity of 14 Each. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. OPM LLC is the only vendor capable of producing a system offering features to meet the minimum requirements and IP65 Dust and Water Intrusion Standards. The Battle Control Center ? CENTAF (BC3), BCSX SYSTEM 1 Computer System is used in support of the Air Support Operations Center (ASOC), the Tactical Air Control (TAC) Party (TACP) and other TAC elements responsible for the planning, execution and control of Close Air Support (CAS) for Army maneuver elements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
