Description

This is a notice of intent to issue an award to the incumbent, Motorola, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046-2289 to continue the maintenance and service plan for a Maintenance Support Agreement, Pineland Network 4-Site Expansion Maintenance at the United States Army Special Operation Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The period of performance is for a base year and two option years as follows: Base year is 16 April 2007 through 15 April 2008. Option year 1, 16 April 2008 through 15 April 2009, Option year 2, 16 April 2009 through 15 April 2010. The continued support will allow the Government to continue with the maintenance and support already in place by assuring the Pineland Expansion Communication Network is never at risk of having the proper care and attention provided in the event of service interruption due to breakdown. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses are due no later than 12 April 2007 at 1:00 PM EST. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Valaida J.
