- This sources sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. The Air Mobility Command (AMC) is interested in identification of capable sources to provide twelve (12) each Itemiser FX One Touch Explosive and Narcotics Trace Detection, P/N P0007018-007, with Itemiser FX Dated Consumables Kit, P/N K0001118, with the following features: Simultaneous dual-mod detection to facilitate detection of peroxide-based explosives, expandable libraries to accommodate unique user requirements, three default user levels (operator, maintenance, and administration) for greater access control, finger imprint sampling wheel able to obtain test sample without consumables, remote control and monitoring via a SecureStation, multiple point sampling wheel, weight less than or equal to 31 lbs, built-in handles, detector type ? Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometer, analysis time ? default 8 seconds, sample acquisition ? direct finger sampling via sampling wheel, warmup time ? 30 minutes, operating temperature- 32 to 104F, storage temperature ? 32-112F, AC Input: 100-120 VAC, 200-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz, 150W, DC Input: 11-18 VDC input, 10A (150W) max, Battery Backup: Up to 30 minutes of standby time daily for transport. Brand Name or Equal. Items must be new not reconditioned or refurbished. Deliveries are to be as follows: Kadena AB, Japan ? 1 each; Diego Garcia ? 1 each; Yokota AB, Japan -1 each; Hickam AFB, HI ? 1 each; Charleston AFB, SC ? 1 each; Ramstein AB, Germany ? 2 each; Spangdahlem AB, Germany ? 1 each; Bahrain Navy/AMC Air Terminal BAH ? 1 each; Incirlik AB, Turkey - 1 each; NAS Norfolk, VA ? 1 each; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba ? 1 each.
