- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a new five-year Level-of-Effort Contract N00024-07-C-5439 for engineering services in support of MK 45 5? and MK 110 57 MM Gun Systems to BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., Armament Systems Division, 4800 E. River Road, Minneapolis, MN 55421. The proposed contract will require the contractor to provide approximately 177,960 hours of engineering services for MK 45 and 236,860 hours for MK 110. This requirement will be solicited sole source from the designer, developer and current producer of the MK 45 and MK 110. BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P., ASD, is the only known company with the requisite technical qualifications and facilities to perform the work in the required timeframe.
