- Description
- The intent of this contract is to remove danger trees from designated areas along Forest system roads on the Fremont-Winema National Forests, Klamath Ranger District. Item 1 is for the removal of danger trees from the Forest roads around Lake of the Woods campgrounds, summer homes, and organizational camps. It is estimated that 5% of these felled trees will have to be moved to a designated decking site. Item 2 is for the removal of danger trees anywhere along designated system roads. Traffic control with the use of flaggers will be required. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. The Contractor shall perform all work required in accordance with the drawings and specifications of the contract. All sites will be on the Klamath Ranger District. The effective period of this contract is from time of award through September 30 2007. The minimum guarantee of the project is $30,000 and the maximum amount is not to exceed $90,000.
