PRON: AX7T1115AXAX, NSN: 2840-01-184-7502, PN: 6038T35G02, Quantity: 100 each applicable to the UH-60 Turbine Engine (T-700), FOB destination with delivery to Texarkana, TX. This is a Small Business Set -Aside that is limited to those small businesses, which are approved. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 100 each, 285 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 178 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Te sting is 100 each, 190 DACA. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses Ferrotherm Corporation, Cage Code: 01993, Metro Machine Works Inc., Cage Code: 50554 and Kerns Manufacturing Corp, Cage Code: 93596 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved s ource(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval i n order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set As ides are restricted to U.S. small businesses, therefore foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
