Description
AMENDMENT 1 Question 1. I would like to clarify if you PREFER or REQUIRE all translators have previous successful experience, for each proposed translator, in translating from French into English WTO accession procedures documents prepared by the governments of Algeria, Tunisia or Morocco. We work with very experienced translators who translate French into English-but may not have SPECIFIC experience on WTO documents prepared by the governments of Algeria, Tunisia or Morocco. ANSWER. It would be REQUIRE. The language of the WTO is very technical. Question 2. I would like to confirm that you are NOT requiring any translation samples for this bid? ANSWER. Correct - no translation samples required. Question 3. I would like to confirm you are requesting all bidders to quote ONE price for translation, editing and typesetting. (...fully loaded rates, per word, shall include all direct and indirect costs associated with the work requested in this SOW) ANSWER. Correct - ONE price. Question 4. I would like to confirm that you prefer, but not require, that all translators be native English speakers. ANSWER. Correct - preferred but not required. Question 5. Are there any incumbents? ANSWER. Lawtank GMBH (SA130104SE0104) Question 6. Where is the work to be performed? ANSWER. The work could be worldwide since most of the translation to be accomplished will be emailed to the contractor. Question 7. The RFQ states that in the scope of work there is an ?estimate that there will be 450-750 pages, 250 words per page, of documents to be translated? My question is this. Are these documents that total between 450 and 750 be given to the contractor at once, and then must be delivered in two weeks or will these documents be spread out over the entire year? ANSWER. The documents will be spread out over the year but the contractor should have the capability to complete at least 100,000 words per month
