Description: The Natural Resources Conservation Service anticipates releasing a solicitation for an Emergency Watershed Protection project. The site located in Hillsgrove Township, Sullivan County, PA has the following description of work. The damaged left bank (viewed downstream) of the Loyalsock Creek will be regraded for approximately 700 feet. Approximately 250 feet of streambank will be repaired using material excavated from the riprap streambed cutoff trench and the gravel deposition downstream of the repair on the left shore of stream. Riprap will be added over top this graded area for stabilization. The solicitation will be posted no later than April 23, 2007. Bid opening will be no sooner than 45 days from the date of this posting.
