Description
The United States Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command Boston intends to issue a purchase order to Fairbanks Morse for the following diesel engine parts: 1. 16 each Nozzles p/n 16705905 2. 40 each Svk leak off nozzles p/n 16612249 3. 30 each pinltle nozzle collar p/n 16108370 4. 14 each Fuel oil pipe assy p/n 16108401 5. 32 each Gasket O.P. Nozzle p/n 16701772 6. 1 each Wrench. O.P. liner adapter p/n 16110204 7. 8 each Tube Assy, Inj pump side p/n 16609156 8. 8 each Tube Assy, Inj Opposite Pump side p/n 16609157 9. 32 O Ring Gasket p/n 16113957 10. Estimated freight Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii))-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Fairbanks Morse is the only company that has the technical proprietary data necessary to manufacture the required parts. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However the Government will consider all information received within five days after the publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
