- Synopsis originally posted April 9, 2007. Please note solicitation number correction. The U.S. Army Sustainment Command intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W52P1J-06-R-0170, to the Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) at https:/ac quisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about April 25, 2007 with a closing date of 30 days after issuance. This RFP is for the following item: MK36 Charge, Demo Block, NSN: 1375-00-316-3610, DODIC: M976, P/N: PL2500128. The RFP shall solicit proposals for a f irm, fixed-priced contract. To accommodate POSSIBLE out-year development, this will be a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with ranges from 50 ea. to 2,500 ea. First Article Testing will be required. This competitive so licitation is being restricted to the National Technology and Industrial Base (United States and Canada). The MK36 Demolition Charge consists of a welded cylindrical aluminum case with cavities for two firing devices. All contractors who provide goods/se rvices to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/. You may also contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion.
