Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for One (1) MotionPro X-3-PLUS Mono USB2.0 & GigE 1280 x 1024 @ 2000 fps, 4 GB Memory (effectively doubles as 8GB). Live Out, Includes C-mount, Power supply, USB2.0 Cable and CD with MotionPro Software that includes MiDAS, camera controls and drivers for the MotionPro camera, record tab playback tab, Flexible ROI Feature. Also One (1) UpGSI: Short Integration feature: 100nsec minimum integration/exposure time. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from DEL Imaging Systems, LLC because the system must be identical to an already existing system with the same or smaller size mounting bolt hole pattern, so it can be incorporated into the Goddard Space Flight Center large depth of field particle image velocimeter (PIV) instrument without making modifications to the instruement. DEL Imaging Systems, LLC meets the minimum requirements of 8GB of effective memory capture 1280 X 1024 @ 2000 fps, the minimum integration feature of 100 nsec exposure time and fits within the existing hardware volume of the Goddard PIV instrument. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail to Janicea McCree is preferred) no later than April 27, 2007. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications by submitting in writing via fax, e-mail, or mail to: NASA/GSFC, ATTN: Janicea McCree, Code 210.3, Building 11, Room S209, 8800 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD 20771 no later than 4:30 p.m EST local time on April 27, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment to the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
