- Description
- Provide Engineering Services for Project #692-07-103, entitled “Storm Water Management” at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (SORCC) , White City, Oregon. This project includes the design renovation and maintenance of the existing storm water system at the VA SORCC, White City, Oregon. Description of work: Renovation and maintenance of the existing storm water system which includes but not necessarily limited to: wash rack for equipment and vehicles (piped to the sewer) designed to meet the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) standards, drainage ditch stabilization and design of new drainage around the existing ponds, asphalting work and drainage for a 68’ x 165’ road area, storm line repair, re-plumb cooler water drains to sewer system, evaluate the need and design a oil/water grease separation for parking lot, and non-recurring maintenance work on the existing detention ponds such as dredging and outlet structure work. Services will include schematic drawings and necessary surveys; development of design drawings and specifications and cost estimate, with final construction drawings and specifications submitted in both hard copy and electronically in unprotected AutoCAD format that must be able to be converted to Adobe .pdf file format, with specifications provided in MS Word document format. Evaluation factors to be considered will be (1) Specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographical location and facilities of the working office; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to this project. Estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 to $500,000. NAICS: 541330/Size Standard $4.5 million. This is a small business set aside for firms located within the State of Oregon. Experienced Engineering Firms interested and desiring consideration shall submit Standard Form 330 by close of business, November 6, 2006 to the Contracting Officer shown above.
