Description

This is a sole source acquisition for procurement of various Backflow Preventer parts such as #1 Check Assy for 8? Watts Regulator Company 909, P/N 0887214, RK 909CK1; #2 check assy for 8? Watts 909, P/N/ 0887218, RK909CK2; Repair kit, complete, relief/vent assy. For 8? Watts 909, P/n 0887238, RK909M1P, using Simplified Acquisition procedures. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated. The FSC code is 4810 and the NAICS code is 33299. The requiring activity is the Naval facility Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 04/16/2007 with closing date of 04/26/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
