Description
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Facilities Management and Services Division Cincinnati, Ohio 45268 has a requirement to provide on-site facility support services for 5 US EPA facilities in the Cincinnati area. This requirement is currently being performed under Contract 68-C-03-017. The performance work statement requires the contractor to perform facility support services that include but are not limited to: The operation and maintenance of buildings and equipment; alterations and repairs to the buildings; computer- assisted drafting (CAD) services; and engineering documentation. Secondary functions include but are not limited to: fire alarm maintenance, snow removal, window washing, pest control, waste removal, and engraving services. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement is attached to this synopsis for your review, and may be accessed through the World Wide Web through the direct link URL: http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd The Government anticipates award of a Competitive 8(a), cost plus fixed fee (LOE) contract with a twelve-month base term and four (4) twelve month options to extend the term. The base level of effort for each term will consist of 54,080 direct labor hours. The Government anticipates including quantity option amounts of 78,000 direct labor hours for the Base and the option periods, which brings the maximum total potential on the contract to 138,580 direct labor hours over five (5) years. Copies of the solicitation will be available to all offerors on the Internet. Offerors should visit the following EPA web page (http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd) for continuous update of RFP's status. Hard copies will not be distributed. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to frequently check the EPA site for amendments. The RFP is anticipated to be released in mid to late May 2007 and close thirty days thereafter. The NAICS code is 561210.
