- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91WAW-07-T-0084 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fed eral Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This procurement will be unrestricted procurement (NAICS: 721110, size standard $6.5M). Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001, Conference Room and Lodging for the period of 25 -26 July 20 07: a. Rooms- Hotel must be able to facilitate a conference for approximately 100 total personnel. Hotel must have adequate space for one general session (100 attendees in a large room from 0800-1700) and one reception, a green room for speaker prep, and one office for administrative requirements (three escorts/administrative support personnel). Hotel must also have adequate space to facilitate meals (breakfast, lunch and an evening reception). b. Lodging- Facility must be able to block 65 rooms for the attendees. c. Food and Beverage. Hotel must have the capability to provide a reception on 25 July and continental breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon breaks (coffee and snacks) on 26 July. Time is not available for attendees to obtain meals outside t he hotel as the schedule does not permit extended breaks. d. Audio Visual and Other Supplies. Hotel must have audio visual that can be contracted. e. Hotel must be located within one block of Metro transportation stop. The following provisions are a appli cable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, with the following evaluation criteria: Price (included all expenses), Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications , Commercial Items (note: as of 1 January 2005, offerors are required to enter their representations and certifications on line at http://orca.bpn.gov); FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions R equired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. Responses to this RFQ must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail or fax by 7 May 2007 no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time at the Contracting Center of Excellence, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200.
