- Description
- Rat, Snowshoe, and Stray Creeks Culvert Replacements. The project consists of three culvert replacements. Rat Creek is a MP 0.25 of Forest Road 454. The work at Rat Ck consists of the removal of an undersized metal pipe and replacement with 117" X 79" X 38' steel pipe arch culvert. Snowshoe Creek is at MP 8.85 of Forest Road 500. The work consists of the removal of an undersized metal pipe and replacement with 60" X 66' steel pipe culvert. Stray Creek is located at MP 0.23 of Forest Road 454. The work consists of the removal of an undersized metal pipe and replacement with 103" X 71" X 50' steel pipe arch culvert. All work is for the purpose of improving aquatic passage. Work includes culvet removal, installation of new structures, rebuilding road in vicinity of the new structures, placing riprap, building grade control structures, placing Gov't furnished aggregate, and allother work required to complete the project as required. There is no restriction on the timing of instream work. All work must be completed by October 26, 2007. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
