Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Non-Secure Juvenile Residential Services for male and female Federal juvenile offenders in Chamberlain, SD and Springfield, SD, within the boundaries of the following contiguous counties (Aurora, Bon Homme, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Clay, Douglas, Gregory, Hughes, Lyman, Stanley and Yankton). Juvenile services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility, Amended February 2004 and Modified May 2005." An indefinite delivery requirements type contract with a two year base period and three one-year options is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the two year base period is 7,300 inmate days; Option Year 1 is 3,650; Option Year 2 is 3,660 inmate days; and Option Year 3 is 3,650 inmate days respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about May 20, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0974-NC will be on or about July 19, 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitations will be accepted.
