Description

1. Regional Contracting Office Alaska is soliciting for a contractor to provide one G.A. Braun 3S32 Delta steamed heated flatwork ironer with 3 rolls at 32 diameters.The requirement is for a replacement Ironer that will have to fit between and commu nicate with two pieces of an existing GA Braun Delta system. 2. Firms will be required to submit specifications to ensure compatibility with existing system without major modifications to include utility hook-ups, computer software, and spacing. 3. The sol icitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price. 4. This procurement is unrestricted and is not set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 423850. 5. When issued, the solicitation w ill be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The tentative solicitation issue date is 01 May 2007 and the anticipated closing date is 15 May 2007. I nterested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 6.
