Description

NOTICE OF INTENT Acquisition Management Integration Center, ACC Contracting, Newport News VA, is planning to do a modification to a current contract for procurement of an extended service contract (Product Support Gold) for eight Ground-Based Tactical Data Link Systems (GTS) and two permanent licenses for imagery software. No license agreements are known to exist to allow another contractor to provide sustainment services or proprietary software upgrades to this system. Battlefield Operations Simulation System is a proprietary product of Tactical Communications Group, therefore, this company appears to be the only source for software and service upgrades. A firm fixed price modification to contract FA4890-06-F-0054 to add these additional items/services is anticipated. The government?s intent is to do a modification to contract number FA4890-06-F-0054 (NAICS: 541511) to Tactical Communications Group on or about 1 June 2007.
