- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a Brand Name or Equal per FAR 52.211 -6. It is strongly advised that you review FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) for information regarding what must be included with you quote if you submitting an equal to offer. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cl auses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 dated 22 March 2007and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Supplement, 1998 edition current to DCN 20070327. This acquisition is being issued on an unrestrictive basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333314 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register on line at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/ scripts/index.html. The award will be based on low price and technically acceptable. The quotation shall consist of one Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Quantity: 1 Unit of issue Assembly, Description: GE VIDEO PROBE SYSTEM MODEL NUMBER XLG 3. THE SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE U.S. ARMY CONTRACTING AGENCY YUMA WEBSITE http://www.yuma.army.mil/contacting/ . It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed price. This soli citation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All quotes shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-07-T-1058 and emailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than the 7 May 07 at 11:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In addition, all technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil no later than 27 April 07, 5:00 PM MST. Offers that fail to furnish required representation or technical in formation as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
