Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Lab Products, Inc. 742 Sussex Avenue, Seaford, DE 19973-2057 for the purchase of Modified N 2-2430-4SDM Stainless Steel 4 Cage. Lab Products Inc. is the sole manufacturer that the cages are interchangeable with the racks that are currently used by our customer. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Qu otation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evi dence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase wil be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this noti ce is solely within the discretion of the Government.
