Description

PEO STRI is planning a $4.85 million sole-source modification to existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract no. N61339-04-D-0042 with Corimec Italiana to extend the present period of performance by 120 calendar days. This modification is being executed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Army has a requirement to provide a contract vehicle for the procurement of deployable shelters to house virtual training devices in particular the Engagement Skills Trainer for various customers. This is an extension of the existing IDIQ. PEO STRI will be posting a competitive procurement for a five year IDIQ for commercial deployable shelters during this 120 calendar day extension. The deployable shelter is designed to provide a stand alone deployable facility to house training devices in any location and climate. It is transportable via air or sea lift, and by truck. It's modular design allows it to be configured in various sizes from 5' x 20' to 48' x 60'. It is currently used for EST 2000, MSTC, and CFFT. The shelter is deployable, and can be packed up, moved and re-assembled at any location with readily available material handling equipment, is a climate controlled environment to safeguard virtual training devices, with a power source via Standard Installation/Armory Infrastructure or Generator Source
