- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Indian Head, MD intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to ProChem Scientific for a Rapid Monitoring System (RMS). A Rapid Monitoring System (RMS) is an instrument used to analyze, monitor, and control chemical processes to further research and development activities. The RMS will be used for research purposes involving organometallic compounds. Currently, the Kaiser Optical Systems? RXN1-785 Raman Spectograph is the only RMS equipment that meets all the government requirements and utilizes a technique that would yield accurate results for the research and development activities and has met the minimum salient characteristics required to perform the specified real-time reaction monitoring at the required spectral wavelength ranges. Furthermore, the RXN1-785 Raman Spectograph is used in situ reaction monitoring of molecular species by delivering molecular information in the form of abosorbance spectra in the infrared regi on but by completely different methods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 334516. The FSC code is 6630.
