Description

The government intends to solicit and award a commercial firm fixed price purchase order for 14 each of the TSC-750M V2 MSD-FR 1.8GHZ Dothan Pentium M Processor as required by Navy Information Operations Command, Norfolk, Virginia, utilizing other than full and open competition. This requirement is intended to be sole source to Miltope Corp., Hope Hull AL, to be compatible with existing units. The statutory authority for pursuing this action on a sole source only basis is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the contractor will be self certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance of the order and through final apartment of the purchase order. Failure to register on CCR may make an offeror ineligible for award. The solicitation will be posted on or about 30 April 2007 and close on or about 11 May 2007. Number notes 22 applies
