Description
United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (RD), has developed a contingency plan in the event that we need to temporarily relocate personnel to a location outside the Washington, D. C. area due to a natural or man-made event to perform critical operating functions of the Agency. The contract resulting from this SOW will be a contingency contract. It will only be exercised in the case of a disaster (man-made or natural) that results in the relocation of Rural Development National Office personnel to Raleigh, North Carolina. A. The hotel shall be able to accommodate approximately 90 single rooms. B. The hotel shall be able to accommodate all persons in a single facility. If unable to accommodate in a single facility, the hotel will locate lodging at another location, not to exceed 2 miles, for the overflow. C. The hotel shall be within 10 miles of 4405 Bland Road, Raleigh, North Carolina. D. The hotel shall provide shuttle service between the hotel and the location above. E. The hotel shall have adequate parking facilities on location. F. The hotel shall provide a large meeting space or hall and be able to setup the space in a conference style for approximately 45 people between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m approximately once per week for approximately 4 hours. G. The hotel shall have free 24 hour local telephone service and Internet access. H. The hotel shall have a 24 hour business center. I. The hotel shall have a personal laundry facility on site. J. The hotel shall have a dining facility capable of providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. K. The hotel facility shall be FEMA approved and listed on the U. S. Fire Administration Hotel and Motel National Master List found at http://www.usfa.fema.gov/hotel L. The hotel facility must be compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (Public Law 101-336) (42 U.S.C. 12101 et. seq.). M. Initial call will be issued for 30 days. If stay exceeds 30 days additional calls will be issued. When and if services are required we will issue a call order as described in Section C. The hotel shall be able to provide the accommodations above for a minimum of 30 days but not to exceed 90 days. The hotel shall have card key entry to the rooms. The hotel shall have an on site security officer.
