Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 841710, Size Standard 500 employees. [If this changes to unrestricted needs to be resolicited on unrestricted basis IAW 19.502-2(a)] Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2KBAD7043A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15 effective 12 Feb 07. The Government intends to award the following: (CLIN 0001) Repair sensor head with B-dot Free Field Sensor QUANTITY: 1 EA CLIN 0002) Repair D-Dot Free Field Sensor Elements and reattach QUANTITY: 1 EA CLIN 0003) Repair missing D-Dot Free field Sensor element QUANTITY: 1 EA CLIN 0001) Repair internal open circuit on D-Dot Free Field Sensor QUANTITY: 1 EA Statement of Work 1. The contractor will repair a B-Dot Free Field Sensor, MGL-6 (R) Serial no.1 (not labeled) exhibiting: a) Sensor head severly cracked b) No visible circuit board damage c) Good electrical continuity 2. The contractor will repair a D-Dot Free Field Sensor, ACD-4B (R) Serial no. 31 exhibiting: a) Sensor elements disconnected from ground plate b) One Element with shorter connection pin 3. The contractor will repair a D-Dot Free Field Sensor, ACD-7C(R) Serial no. 21 exhibiting: a) One element missing 4. The contractor will repair a D-Dot Free Field Sensor, ACD-80(R) Serial no.10 exhibiting: a) Internal open circuit 5. The contractor will repair a D-Dot Free Field Sensor, ACD-80(R) Serial no. 14 exhibiting: a) Internal open circuit DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: NO LATER THAN 25 May 2007 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
