- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Federal Government intends to award sole source to Pitney Bowes for the following items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion o f the government. CLIN 0001 Purchase of a Shape Based Rating Module for DM 1000; WOW mailing solution. This module includes hardware, software, installation, and training. Period of Performance: 14 May 2007 13 May 2008 Pitney Bowes is the sole source provider of the Shape Based Rating Module for DM 1000 for the current mailing equipment, which is available to U.S. Government clients on the GSA Schedule. This module is required to meet USPS postal rate changes which take affect on 14 May 2007. GSA Contract Number is GF-25F-0010M.
