Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a purchase order on a non-competitive sole source basis to CARL ZEISS SMT Inc, One Zeiss Drive, Thornwood N.Y. 10594. CARL ZEISS SMT, Inc. shall provide a one year service maintenance agreement plan for Microscope serial # EM 912- 8335 . Includes emergency repair services as required M-F 8am-5pm labor travel parts and one planned maintenance., The contractor is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the parts to repair the microscopes. Use of any other parts or repair services will void the manufacturer warranty. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. However, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered. This is not a request for quotes; however sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
