Description
DESC: MARKET SURVEY AND BIDDERS LIST DEVELOPMENT - SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified industry sources for providing these support services for the United States Senate (Senate). All requirements listed below are mandatory unless otherwise noted. This Sources Sought Notice (Notice) is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Senate to an award of a contract. This sources sought synopsis contains the currently available information. This information is subject to change at any time. The Office of Senate Curator requires periodic professional photography of Senate collection objects and historic rooms. The images are for publications, the web, and documentation. Photographic subjects include paintings, sculpture, furniture, historic objects, historic prints, architectural features, and room views. The photography shall primarily take place on-site at the United States Capitol. The subject may be photographed in situ, or in an on or off-site space provided by the Office of Senate Curator. For examples of previous professional photography, please refer to the Senate Curator website (http://www.senate.gov/art), the United States Senate Catalogue of Fine Art (http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/cdocuments/sd107-11/browse.html), and the United States Senate Catalogue of Graphic Art (http://www.gpoaccess.gov/serialset/cdocuments/sd109-2/index.html). REQUIREMENTS: The photographer shall 1) provide all equipment necessary for the job, including lighting, camera equipment, background, screens, photographic support staff, and other material as necessary; 2) incur the cost of all film and processing; and 3) release all copyright of the photographs to the United States Senate. INSTRUCTIONS In responding to this Notice, state your qualifications to provide these services and meet mandatory requirements 1 through 3 listed above. Your response to each requirement must include: a) paragraph numbering identifiable to requirements listed above; b) years of professional experiences; c) resume, or synopsis of similar projects; d) list of references for similar projects, include your contact, their institution and contact information; and e) business information including your Dun and Bradstreet number and point of contact with telephone, fax and e-mail address. After receipt and review of the responses to this Notice, the Senate intends to issue a solicitation. The information contained in this notice will be the only information provided by the Senate during the Sources Sought process. All qualified sources should respond to this Notice by submitting an information package in accordance with the instructions provided. Vendors responding to this Notice and deemed qualified may be requested to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation. Only firms deemed qualified will be permitted to submit proposals. If suitable responses are received from qualified sources, the Senate anticipates release of a solicitation in June 2007. The Senate is not responsible for any costs for the preparation of responses to this request. Responses to this Notice are due to the POC no later than May 21, 2007, at Noon EDT and shall be submitted electronically via email only to the POC at acquisitions@saa.senate.gov. The subject line of the email message shall be: SSN 2007-S-039. No other method of transmittal will be accepted. The response shall not exceed ten (10) pages. Unnecessarily elaborate submissions are discouraged. Pages over the page limitation may be discarded. Access to information in any files attached to the response is the responsibility of the submitting party. The Senate is not responsible for any failure to access vendor's information. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS THE ONLY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SENATE. ANY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE HONORED.
