Description

The proposed contract action is for a Ultrasound Transducer which the Europe Regional Contracting Office intends solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302 (or FAR 13.106 or 13.501). Interested persons may ide ntify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose o f determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Supplies will be delivered to USA MEDDAC Heidelberg, Heidi Smith, Karlsruhe Strasse 144, Nachrichten Kaserne, Heidelberg 69125. Required delivery is 22 June 2007. This acquisition will be solic ited in accordance with (IAW) Far Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial items. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration with the CCR may be accomplish using t heir web page www.ccr.gov or by calling (888) 227-2423. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
