- Pope AFB intends to solicit and award a total small business sole source purchase order to AMERICAN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, INC for the purchase of a service and maintenance agreement of an 66Z X-Ray Inspection System. Manufacturer is American Science and Engineering. This agreement shall cover the period of 1 Jun 07 until 30 Sep 07. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The applicable NAICS is 334517 with a size standard of 500 Employees.
