Description: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY, THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. ANY SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED TO BE PUBLIC INFORMATION. RESPONSES TO THIS RFI WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE FUTURE ACQUISITION DEC ISIONS AND BUILD SOURCE LISTS. The Directorate of Contracting, Presidio of Monterey (DOC), is fact finding to determine if there are any responsible commercial sources to provide and deliver foreign language instructional/training materials such as books, CDs, DVDs, etc. This RFI provi des an opportunity for industry to identify their ability to provide all the material listed in this RFI and help the Government build a future source list for planning purposes. The Government has a future need for a single contractor to provide foreign language instructional/training materials for its staff and students at the Defense Language Institute (DLI) located at Presidio of Monterey, California. The Government is interes ted in finding vendor(s) who supply a full range of foreign language instructional books and other foreign language instructional materials like the attached material list. The primary need for the Government is for language material segregated in three di fferent geographic areas; 1) Asian; 2) Middle East; and 3) European/Latin American. Attached is a sample list of items required by the Government. Ordered books would be shipped to DLI utilizing a set delivery schedule. If your company is capable of providing 100% of the sample items listed in this RFI, please submit your company contact and mailing information electronically to: Bernie Caguiat at bernie.caguiat@us.army.mil or via FAX (831-242-6591). Your company will b e added to the vendors list for future foreign language training materials.
