- Description
- The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management and Program Manager, Night Vision Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition is conducting a market survey. This is a market survey to locate sources of supply for the Dismou nted Battery Box (DBB) NSN 6160014943671 which is used with the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3). It is anticipated that a minimum of 900 DBBs to a maximum 6900 DBBs will be required to meet the Armys production requirement. This is a market survey to identify all parties interested in taking part in this entire effort as a prime contractor. Please provide information no later than 18 May 2007. Note the Government does not own a technical drawing package for this effort. Description and Application: The anticipated strategy will be to acquire a sub-component of the LRAS3, the DBB, which aides in enabling the LRAS3 to function in a dismounted configuration. The procurement is in support of a supplemental procurement of LR AS3s. Performance Requirements: The following list contains the performance specifications that the supplier will need to meet to be considered fully qualified. 1. MIL-PR-A3264477C, LRAS3 Performance Specification, U0140RWH, Rev A, 2. Performance Specification for the LRAS3 Dismount Battery Box, and 3. PRD 2155 Acceptance Test Procedures for the LRAS3 Dismounted Battery Box. Anticipated delivery schedule is to be determined. To be considered fully qualified a prospective supplier will need to meet the delivery quantities plus all possible surge needs. Please provide the following information no later than 18 May 2007: 1. Brief summary of company, 2. Qualifications and experience producing a Dismount Battery Box, and 3. Describe how you will meet the projected quantity requirements for the Dismount Battery Box and possible surges in production.
