- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of Security System Services for the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) located in Washington DC. The contractor shall provide personnel to continuously administer, operate, and monitor various servers and security systems equipment to provide prompt and effective responses and reporting requirements. The BEP anticipates issuing the solicitation by April 2, 2007 for a Firm Fixed-Price type contract. The period of performance will be for a base year and four one-year option periods for a total of five years. The Contractor is required to provide 24 hour staffing, 7 days per week. All Contractor personnel are required to have security clearances in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) requirements. The Statement of Work with additional information will be provided in Section C of the solicitation at the time the solicitation is advertised. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested sources may submit a written request, including an email address, to be placed on the mailing list so notification can be made once the solicitation has been released. Firms may fax or email their requests to the contract specialist listed below. Telephone requests will not be honored. Note: This initiative is non-restrictive. This modification extends the closing date for receipt of proposals from May 11, 2007 by 3:00 p.m. EST to May 25, 2007 by 3:00 p.m. EST.
