- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to design and install a new fire alarm system in the U.S. Coast Guard Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Facility in Fort Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY. Previous Design/Build experience is required. The work also includes the removal of the existing fire alarm system. An additive item provides for the installation of a new Public Address System. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $13 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. This project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable NAICS code is 238210. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The tentative bid opening date is 11 June 2007. Bid packages will be available on or about 11 May 2007 at a non-refundable charge of $29. Certified Checks or money orders should be made payable to AlphaGraphics and mailed to the firm at: 423 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair, NJ 07043. Do not send fees to the Coast Guard. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and drawings may also be accessed for download for free commencing on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov/. Any amendments issued under this solicitation shall also be posted on this website. Vendors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) at www.fedteds.gov to download the technical data package.
