- The purpose of this modification for Request for Proposal Number DOL072J10004, entitled Bureau of Labor Statistics A-76 Standard Competition of Economists, Writer/Editors, and Program Analysts, dated March 23, 2007 is to specify period of performance dates for pricing purposes. Performance of the Phase in Period will begin on or about July 1, 2007. Offerors shall use the following dates for performance: Phase in Period July 1, 2007 through October 31, 2007; Base Period November 1, 2007 through October 31, 2008; Option One November 1, 2008 through October 31, 2009; Option Two November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2010; Option Three November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2011; Option Four November 1, 2011 through October 31, 2012. Closing date and time for the solicitation is unchanged. The proposal due date remains no later than 3 PM ET, May 18, 2007. Proposals shall be addressed as follows: Bureau of Labor Statistics Attn: Ausie Grigg Room 1830 2 Massachusetts, Ave, NE Washington, DC 20214 In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics announced, on June 28, 2006, a Standard Competition of Economists, Writer/Editors, and Program Analysts within the Office of Technology and Survey Processing and the Office of Publications and Special Studies. All positions are located at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2 Massachusetts Avenue, NE, Washington, DC. The incumbent service providers are 51 Government employees supported by 14 contractor manpower equivalents. BAE Systems is the employer for the incumbent supporting contractor equivalents. The incumbent Government employees are performing the majority of the functions. The Competitive Sourcing Official is Patrick Pizzella, the Agency Tender Official is Rick Kryger, and the Contracting Officer is Peter Higginbotham. The projected end date for the competition is June 29, 2007. A six month time limit extension has been approved if the competition cannot be completed by that date.
