SOLICITATION FA8104-07-R-0470. OC-ALC/748 CBSG/PKP (405) 739-5492. ITEM 0001: NSN 2840-K-0190220APR, PN: 736L877G01, HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND EQUIVALENT P/N: 822440-2-006. NOUN: KIT, EMSC (F110 ENGINE). MANUFACTURER: HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND. DELIVERY DESTINATION: FMS COUNTRIES; DELIVERY BEGINNING OCTOBER 2007; 6 EACH PER MONTH. BEST ESTIMATED QUANTITY IS 40 EACH; HOWEVER, FINAL QUANTITY WILL BE DECIDED AT TIME OF AWARD. Anticipated solicitation date will be 29 MAY 2007. Anticipated award date will be 27 JULY 2007. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. Only written, email, or faxed requests received directly from the requestor is acceptable. A Government First Article Test will be required if the contractor has not made this item within the past 36 months. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Interested parties may contact OC-ALC/BC, Tinker AFB, OK 73145 for Source Approval Requests (SAR) information. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal/quote/bid, which if timely, will be considered. According to FAR 4.1102 (Oct 03), ?Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central contractor Registration (CCR) managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) prior to award of a contract or agreement.? An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmental phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or the program director but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
