Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River intends to issue a commericial small purchase to Rohde & Schwarz, 8661A Robert Fulton Drive, Columbia, MD 21046 on an other than full and open competition basis. NAWCAD is purchasing an EMI Test System, which consists of the following equipment: Item Model Number EMI Test Receiver 9 kHz to 7 GHz R&S ESP17 Accessory: Artificial Mains -9 kHz to 30 MHz -Continuous current 15 A -Remote Control -V-Network ACC. TO: CISPR, EN, VDE, ANSI and MIL- STD-461 D and E -Calibrated to CISPR 16-1, 1999 and ANSI C63.4 R&S ENV 216 System Software EMC32 for EMI Applications R&S EMC32-E+ This system is being procured in support of the AIR-4.5 Avionics Division. It has been determined that no other system is capable of meeting the Government?s minimum requirements. Specifically, the Government requires a system capable of meeting the electromagnetic compatibility testing in accordance with military standards MIL-STD-461 Revisions C-E. The system must have a frequency range of 9kHz to 7 GHz; functionality as both a true spectrum analyzer and test receiver (simulated spectrum analysis is not acceptable); Parallel Max peak, quasi peak, average and RMS detectors; built in preselector (9kHz to 7 GHz); built in preamplifier (9kHz to 7 GHz) selectable gain to at least 20 dB; built in tracking generator for 9kHz to 7 GHz frequency coverage; and built in internal tracking generator attenuator for 0 dBm to -70 dBm operation. This is a notice of intent to award, not a request for proposals. However, any company believing they can supply the necessary equipment should submit a capabilities statement to Ben Hansford, benjamin.hansford@navy.mil. The contracting officer will consider any responses.
