Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to DLT Solutions, Inc. of Herndon, VA for the purchase of on-site technical support on JBoss software which is proprietary (Government-owned) by SSA. The period of performance will be May 21, 2007 through August 20, 2007. The technical support is currently known to be available only through DLT Solutions, Inc. for the purposes of the requirement. Support is needed to complete the total Websphere application implementation at the agency which is ongoing. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA?s requirements are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, SSA shall issue a sole source award of the support under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by Wednesday, May 16, 2007 by 1:00 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
