Description: The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, USUHS, located in Bethesda, MD, intends to acquire on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b) with General Atomics for the acquisition of an instrumented fuel element. This item is being procured as a commercial item in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures. USUHS requires the instrumented fuel element for the Triga Mark F. General Atomics is the only source available that is able to provide the required instrumented fuel element.
