- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is procuring the renewal and maintenance of seven annual licenses for Gridgen modeling and gridding software. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Pointwise, Inc. These licenses assure continuance of availability for Gridgen software. Pointwise, Inc, is the sole owner, developer, maintainer and distributor of Gridgen and has not licensed any other vendor to perform these functions. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 06/12/07.
