Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency - Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a modification to extend current contract and add additional required components on a sole source basis with LDS Test and Measurement, 8551 Research Way, Ste 140, Middleton, WI, 53562. The modification is for a vibration test system field power supply and cooling unit equipment to be added to the existing YPG contract for the refurbishment of a LDS 984 LS vibration test system. LDS Test and Measurement holds proprietary data rights on the equipment; thus, they are the only contractor capable of completing the refurbishment. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own resea rch regarding the specifications of the above listed item. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 04 June 2007, 12:00PM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with solicitation W9124R-07-T-0 077 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
