Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, CENWP-CT-C, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, OR 97204 intends to issue a Request for Quotation No. W9127N-07-Q-0095. To provide Services for The Corps of Engineers, Portland District, at Umpqua River Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site to conduct Benthic Invertebrate and Fish Trawl Collections. The Umpqua River ODMD is an interim ocean disposal site located approximately one mile northwest of the entrance of to the Umpqua River, Douglas County, Oreg on. The dimensions of the site are 1,400 feet by 3,200 feet with an average depth of 105 feet. The topography of the site is relatively featureless, sloping seaward uniformly. Native sediment at the site consists of fine sands, with no evidence of rocky outcropping. The collections shall be conducted two times during the summer of 2007, once in June 2007 and a second time in September. The request for quote RFQ will be available on or about May 30, 1007. Tentative due date is June 12, 2007. The small business size standard for this procurement is not established for this NAICS code.
